RSS Roofing Services & Solutions Announces Opening of New Location in Evansville

Nationally Recognized Roofing Contractor Expands into Familiar Market

EVANSVILLE, IN (June 8, 2016) – RSS Roofing Services & Solutions, a nationally recognized design-build roofing contractor, announces the opening of its new location in Evansville, IN. The 7,500-square-foot facility is located at 4117 N. Saint Joseph Ave., with a 1.3-acre lot size capable of housing a large volume of project materials. Recently, the skilled workforce in the area completed a single ply reroof on more than 3 million square feet spanning across five buildings for the Department of Energy’s Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Kentucky.

“With local roots in Evansville, this location was a natural choice as we looked to expand RSS’ capabilities,” said Walt Hatfield, President of MHS Legacy Group, RSS’ holding company. “As a leader in the roofing industry for more than 120 years, RSS is committed to integrity, safety, reliability and excellent services completing projects of all sizes for industrial plants, government facilities, schools, churches, hospitals, office buildings, shopping centers, banks and more. As an Evansville native, I’m excited about coming home.”

An official grand opening ceremony is scheduled for June 23rd with a ribbon cutting at 11:00 am. In attendance at the opening will be Mayor Lloyd Winnecke, numerous Chamber of Commerce staff and ambassadors, and city officials. Immediately following the ribbon cutting will be complimentary lunch provided by local Mission BBQ.

Douglas Fuller, a leader in the roofing industry since 1988, will take on the role of Superintendent at the Evansville location, alongside Bob Hollander, an experienced construction crew member for more than 25 years. Both Fuller and Hollander are residents in Evansville.

“Both have exceptional leadership capabilities, and will be instrumental in excelling the company in the market,” said Joe Lauberth, General Manager of RSS St. Louis. “Their high level of roofing experience and familiarity with the city of Evansville more than qualifies them for this role. We look forward to their efforts in continuing the impressive growth RSS has seen in recent years.”

RSS Evansville are members of the Southwest Indiana Chamber of Commerce and the Indiana Roofing Contractors Association.
